Background
Career-changer. Electronics debugging in the field, UAT with a real software team, now building with Python, C#, and AI-assisted development. Practical. Systems-minded. Good at finding what's broken.
I spent years keeping electronic systems running — security trailers, arcade cabinets, bowling equipment. That work is diagnostics: isolate the fault, read the schematic, inspect the board, document what you found, get it back online.
In 2020 I sat with a software team as a UAT tester at Hope Montgomery Industries in Richardson. I wrote test cases, found defects in functionality, legal wording, and graphics, made small code fixes, and coordinated tickets with an overseas development team. It was the first time I saw how software actually ships.
I'm now teaching myself Python and C#. I use AI-assisted development (Anthropic, OpenAI) as a learning and prototyping tool — not as a job title. I'm looking for a junior software role where someone practical, who is already good at finding what's broken, can grow.

Field and shop electronics. Diagnosed and repaired complex electronic systems on security trailers — assembly, testing, quality checks — and organized workflow for rapid equipment turnover. Keeping systems running, not writing product software.
Game & Bowling Technician

Mechanical and electronic repair under live operations. Diagnostics first: if a cabinet or lane went down, find the break and get it back in service.

Sat with a real software team. Wrote tests, found defects, made small code fixes, and closed tickets with an overseas development team. Honest title: tester — not software engineer.
